I’m Shocked By This Coffee
Well, it was bound to happen. There is a new category of coffee on the market called hyper-caffeinated coffee. The leading brand is named, appropriately, Shocked, and their motto is “Sleep is Overrated!”
Like the Jolt cola of several years ago it being marketed purely on its “pick you up” characteristics. Now this is just news, so I haven’t actually tasted it yet, but I have ordered the “Shock Sampler Kit 2,” which contains the following:
- Two bag of 2.65 Energy Blend Ground Coffee
- Two bag of 2.75 Organic Blend Ground Coffee
- Four cans of Shock Triple Mocha
- Four cans of Shock Triple Latte
- Two bag of Shock-A-Lots - chocolate covered coffee beans
- One Shock Coffee Ceramic Mug

Many people drink coffee specifically for the energy factor, so this product makes sense. Pepsi hass recently come out with Pepsi Max, which has more caffeine, so there should be coffee products with extra caffeine. I haven’t tried Shocked, so I look forward to your reviews.
Every morning i drniks one cup of coffee it provide me energy for whole day. Whenver i feels tire i always prefer to drink cofee rather than cold drinks. Drinking Coffee helps in reducing work strees and i feels fresh after drinking coffe and it generate energy to do work again..
Hmmm i can smell that coffee from here.lol.I am one person who is addicted to coffee.I cant start my day without cup of coffee.For me it works as a energy booster.I am sure i am going to try this brand as they are claiming it keeps sleep out.I need it really.Many time i feel sleepy during work hours and i need cup of hot coffee to keep me awake whole day.
I’ll admit that yes, I do drink coffee for the caffeine (I’m only human!) but I also drink it because I actually like it. My concern would be that taste is being sacrificed for jamming extra caffeine in it. I would rather not have a lousy cup of coffee just for the extra caffeine boost.
Funny you should mention this high energy coffee. I’m not sure if this is the same thing or not, but over the weekend I was driving home from Charleston, SC (which is a 8-hour drive) and didn’t leave until 8:00 p.m. I stopped at a gas station and convenience plaza for a cup of coffee and noticed some special “High Energy” blend in one of their urns. I took a large cup of it with me on the road. It didn’t taste any different than any other highway coffee and I didn’t feel like it gave me any more buzz than one of their house blends ….. so I guess the jury is still out. I did get home safely, and that’s the important thing! I’ll be interested in your report.
